The Hingham Shipyard, once a famous naval shipyard, is embarking on a transformation that will turn the waterfront location into a combination of residential, retail and commercial developments, open public space and a waterfront park. The new community will provide upscale shopping, fine dining, office space, luxury living and landscaped parks. In addition, the project will feature a health club, a day care center and improved boat and marina facilities.
