Four developers are behind the transformation of the former Shipyard: AvalonBay Communities is building 235 luxury apartment homes. Lennar Urban Properties is building 150 luxury townhomes. Samuels & Associates is building 240,000 square feet of retail and office space as well as 94 condominiums, and SeaChain LLC will continue to operate the Hewitts Cove Marina.
